
Conference Registration


Registration Terms and Conditions
By registering for CCT 2026, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Registration Fees and Currency
All registration fees are listed and processed in United States Dollars (USD). Any currency conversion fees or bank charges are the responsibility of the participant.
2. Payment and Confirmation
Registration is considered complete only after full payment has been received. A confirmation email will be issued upon successful registration. The conference organizers reserve the right to cancel unpaid registrations.
3. Early-Bird and Regular Registration
Early-bird rates are available only for registrations completed by 30 April 2026, 2359JST. Registrations completed after this deadline will be charged at the regular rate.
4. Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All requests need to be submitted before 1st June 2026. Administrative and transaction fees may be deducted from all refunds.
5. Registration Transfer
Registrations may be transferred to another participant upon written request to the conference organizers before [insert transfer deadline]. The substitute participant must meet the eligibility requirements for the registration category.
6. Visa Responsibility
Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel visas or entry permissions required to attend the conference in Japan. Registration fees will not be refunded due to visa denial after the refund deadline.
7. Program Changes
The conference organizers reserve the right to modify the program, speakers, schedule, or format if necessary.
8. Liability
The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during participation in the conference.
9. Photography and Media
By attending the conference, participants consent to the use of photographs or recordings taken during conference activities for conference-related promotional and archival purposes.
10. Grant/Financial Support
For conference participants who seek financial support, the CCTC Board expects to provide Global South Grants again in 2026. Please check back for more details in late March.
Hotels

Cross Hotel Kyoto
Located in the vibrant heart of Kyoto’s Nakagyō district, Cross Hotel Kyoto is one of the city’s newest 4-star hotel. The hotel is located in Kyoto's city center and shopping district. It is a 4-minute walk to Sanjō Station. Kyoto University is about 15–20 minutes away by public transport.

Via Inn Prime Kyoto Station Hachijo
Located just a 2-minute walk from the Hachijo Exit of JR Kyoto Station. This makes it very convenient for arriving via the Shinkansen or JR lines, and for access to city-wide transport. Kyoto University is about 22 minutes away by taxi or 35 minutes by public transport.

Via Inn Kyoto Shijo Muromachi
Just a 4-minute walk from Shijō and Karasuma subway stations, the hotel sits on Muromachi-dōri. It offers easy access to key Kyoto attractions such as Nishiki Market. Kyoto University is about 15 minutes away by taxi or 27 minutes by public transport.

Hotel Resol Trinity Kyoto
The hotel is centrally located: just a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station. It is well-suited to travellers who wish to explore Kyoto’s historic districts, shopping areas, temples, etc. Kyoto University is about 10–15 minutes away by taxi or 20 minutes by public transport.
